Kristie Veith returns to her alma mater his season as an assistant coach. Veith was a full-scholarship member of the Loyola College volleyball team from 1996-99.

Veith was a starting outside hitter for the Greyhounds in all four years on the squad. She was a captain of the team from 1997-99. Veith was a two time all-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference selection and was named the team's Most Valuable Player as a sophomore and a senior. She also earned spots on the conference all-academic team in 1999 and 2000.

Recently, Veith has spent time working with the Renaissance Junior Olympic Volleyball Club where she assists with the development of prospective college bound student-athletes competing in Junior Olympic tournaments on the local, regional and national level. She has also worked with the Northern Virginia Quantico Officiating Association. She had served as a lead official for the Northern Virginia Volleyball Association as well as the Northern Virginia area high schools.

Veith received her bachelors degree in communications from Loyola in 2000 . She currently resides in Falls Church, Va.
